I did not like the fish finder that came with the boat and the wife would probably shoot me if I bought a new one right now. So I figured I was stuck with what I had. Then the light bulb went on. I had purchased a new Lowrance X96 last year to use on my row boats. I got it at Cabela's and it was set up to be portable with a 12v batt. suction cup transducer (200mhz w/temp) and all in a compact bag. Well I dug that out and went installed it this morning. Here's a pic. Next year I will get a new color HD one. Those are sweet... I was able to use two of the mounting holes from the old finder so I did not have to do any drilling.
