I am buying a 2009 23 Parker DV Center console with a 250 Yamaha (50 hours) this week and thought it was a good time to join the Classic Parker site. After a lot of research on which boat to buy, I narrowed it down to this one and started my search. The boat was listed on a Saturday, I noticed it online and spoke to the broker the next tuesday and made and offer and signed a P&S Wednesday morning. The results of the engine check and survey came out great.

I fish most in Southern RI and Block Island and am hoping to extend my fishing out to places like the Mud Hole, the Canyon or maybe even places like Cutty Hunk or MV.

I will post some pictures once I figure out how (I tried but the site said that the file was too big).

Congrats ! A no nonsense boat, but unlimited in it's potential. Fish the s-h-eye-tee out of it

Received some responses that instructed me how to post a pic. Hopefully this works.

Congratulations and welcome aboard!
As you discovered, these boats don't last long on the used market when priced right.

I brought the boat up from Florida about three months ago and left it at Don't Marine in Tiverton to do some work. Although the engine had only 50 hours, i had him replace the water pump, termo's, plugs, etc. Also had the boat detailed. Had it out a few times and really love the ride.

See attached picture.

 One of the best add on's I did to mine was to add two rod holders to the gunnel up in the bow about in the middle of the rail length. Very handy to have 6 rod holders on the gunnels. The shop did a great job and placed the holders just far enough away from the rail so the rod doesn't touch the rail when in the holder.
