Hi just joined the website and have been reading all the interesting forums. I mainly fish Lake Erie and have a 27 ft sportcraft but want to move up to a 2520 parker. The river I have my dock and campsite at is very shallow and can not get my present boat out half the time in the spring and fall. I need the outboard to tilt up and down. I stopped by the parker dealer and feel in love with the 2520 xl sport cabin. I like the 9 ft beam which my sportcraft has and yet the 2520 has more fishing room. The problem is not sure about the difference in the 2 types of transoms and what will ride smoother in 3 to 4 ft waves the DV or the MV. Will the transoms make the ride different.
