I have been lurking on this site since I discovered it several days ago and just registered today. I am a soon-to-be owner of the 2007 2510 XLD WA. I ordered the boat at the NE Boat Show and can't wait until delivery in May. I am moving up from a GW Adventure 208 and was considering the GW Gulfstream 232 when I saw the Parker. IMHO, a boat built as well as the Grady, with a few features I prefer over the Grady. I will be keeping the boat at Kingman on Buzzards Bay and would like to hear from other Parker owners in the area.

Great site... happy to be a new member.

Frank-Welcome aboard, this site will be real help with all your PARKER questions and general PARKER info. I dont live/boat in the Mass. area,But I know there are alot of People on this site that are! Im sure many people will respond. Good Luck with yor new boat . IMHO the PARKER may actually be put together a little better than the GRADY, Ive seen a few older Gradys with bad transoms and I hear its not uncommon, I guess all boats have thier problem areas, but there are alot of 20 year old PARKERS on the bay that are still all original as far as structure and gel-coat.

Frank,

Welcome aboard ClassicParker. This is the place to be to get your "Parker Fix" when you can't actually get out -on- your Parker. :p

Good to see another Baystater in our midst. 8) Also good to hear that the local Parker Dealers had some success at the new NE Boatshow Venue. Pull up a keyboard and enjoy!

Thanks for the welcome. It is going to be tough to wait until Spring this year. Living on the Cape, we have some unusual weather... Not sure you know this, but down here, the months of the year are ... Jan, Feb, March, March, March, June...

I was over at my Parker dealer today discussing electronics for the new boat. Pretty exciting. In the meantime there is a weath of information on this site that will keep me busy for awhile. I am already amazed at some of the projects that the members have undertaken. I also appreciate the great photos that accompany the posts. Great stuff!
