New owner of an older boat

Good evenin'.
Just wanted to say hey and introduce myself. I recently acquired my dad's boat(a 1991 21' Cuddy) due to him moving farther inland. This is my first "big" boat and I am looking forward to learning from you experienced boaters and enjoying some family time on the water. If anyone is in Charleston, SC and doesn't mind a newbie tagging along once or twice to learn a few tips I would greatly appreciate it. I need to do a little clean up and get it registered and insured and from what I've read so far sea tow(or other recommended) is a good peace of mind. Looking forward to making friends and learning all I can.
