New (to me) 2005 2120 PH

I just retuned from picking this boat up (1100 miles round trip from Virginia). If you want a Parker, you have to earn it.

I am still working through a full inventory to learn about the boat and also find those things that you can't find on a sea trial. I'm heading out to Solomons Island, MD this morning for 4 days of fishing. That should shake out any issues.

If I could sell my big girl, I often think the 21 SC would be my ideal pocket battleship. It's either that or move up to a 28' diesel inboard Downeaster or Albin 28' TE - haha!

Congrats! You'll love it. I downsized from a 24-footer and I have more fishing room on the 21. Being inside the warm, dry pilothouse is a real plus on a cold, windy day.

I had a great father's day gift. My sons (one is a minor league baseball player and rarely gets a day off in the summer) were able to join me for a day of fishing on Monday. It was also the maiden fishing trip for my new to me Parker. The morning was a bit rough (2-3 footers with a small craft advisory) so we stayed close to the Pax River. We caught a few small croaker. We decided to grab a bite to eat and then try some other areas.

After lunch we went further up river near NRC and caught some spot just right for live lining. It was a first for us so we decided to head up to the area north of the gas docks. By then the wind had died and we had a nice ride out.

We immediately had some action and ended up catching 12 stripers. We were able to keep 3. We ran out of spot and time so headed back to Solomons. All in all it was a great day with my sons and a new boat.
