Hey all, new kid checking in here. Great site this is!

I'm in the market for another Parker. My last one was the 1801. Great little tug she was.

Now I'm looking at the 21SE with the F150 Yamahammer. I was highly interested in the 21DV w/200, but the recent gas prices are forcing me to down-scale a tad.

Norfolk Marine doesn't have any in stock, so I'll have to order one if I go this route. And it will be an '09. These are the options I'm looking at:

Trim Tabs
Electronics Cabinet
Insulated Console Cooler Insert
Factory T-Top
Aluminum bunk trailer with disk brakes

I'm dissapointed that I can't get one with the one piece high bow rail. To me the two piece low ones are worthless.

Anyways, Initial list with Frt and prep is 45, 577

They quoted me 37,955. Looks decent to me. Shall I shake their hand and do it? Or can I wiggle some more? I am looking at other brands, but I'm leaning 80% this way.

I've been on a 21 SE(no T-Top) before, so I know what they can and can't do.

Thanks Fellas!!

Trim tabs are essential, but they can also be a DIY project if you care to go that route.
Read up in the "Projects" area for lots of trim tab data.

The rest of your items are personal preference and should make the boat yours without any problem.
The quoted price sounds right to me, but then I haven't bought a new one in awhile. :)

Good luck and welcome aboard!

Thanks for the info Kevin. I installed a set of Lencos on my 1801 and it was very simple. To me, having Parker install 'em at the factory will only be a little bit more $$, so it's worth it to me. :D

It still blows me away that I can't get a one piece high bow rail. Maybe I need to vent to linwood.
