hello all fan of this forum been lurking for a while. just recently upgraded from a 25 c-hawk cc to a 29 sport cabin. i use the boats for commercial fishing in florida and am very happy with them. c-hawk may be a bit rougher built boat but i believe they are pretty close in hull designs.

yea i heard that too thats a bummer, small boat builders are having a tough time in this economy i guess.and they have been around since the late 70's. i fish for mainly kingfish and spanish mackerel here in the west palm area.

C-hawk has been purchased and will be building boats again. Here is a quote from another forum just recently:

C-hawk is open under the Custom Fiberglass products banner. We also own Mitzi Skiffs. We build both boats in our Bailey NC plant, the long time home of C-Hawk.We still build the 16 and it was in the Virginia boat show. The 18 is in the Raleigh NC boat show this weekend.Yes we still use wood just like the other brands that were mention but it has a lifetime warranty against decay. The C-Hawk website isn't up yet but you can reach me at 252-235-2461.Thank you for all your support and lets put C-Hawk and Mitzi Skiffs back on top.
