A picture shows all ... BEFORE draining out the old oil, add a strip of tape behind the oil drain screw. This allows the old oil to follow the tape edge and drip/drain STRAIGHT down into your collection bucket. No mess :) !

Great idea, instead of having run down the leading edge of the skeg. That probably works on grey motors too :lol: Wish I had thought of this before I laid out the 4x4' drip tray lined with oil diapers. Thanks Dale for the tip.
