Ok so I got a rough start on brand name tackle but I'm still staying with the plan, I will have to get a brick n mortar address to do business with the big boys but i'm sticking with the plan...

I will be abroad for a month including china.....

Please feel free to list any items the Classic Parker and its members would like ...NOT BRAND NAMEs stuff like this:

Star drag 2 speed reel for say $50 to 80 as an example ..list ball bearings/drag # and the like

IF you need line ...
PLIERS i am going to have an exact copy of the ACCURATE 7" for $30
I will have a star drag reel for $30 and $50

i will have offshore 2 speed 16w 30 w 50 w clones of penn at a fraction of the cost

I am still waiting on Shimano USA

all request should be sent to bret-rankin at hotmail dot com thanks

Hey Bret,,have a good trip,,ive been to China 7 times in the last 4 years,, met my wife thier, not sure what areas your going to but if you get to the west aroung Guilin thiers a town called Yang Shou, not sure if i spelled it perfectly, but they have a bamboo raft ride that takes about 3 hours down the Yulong river, they have little barges that sale beer about every half mi. the scenery is outstanding,,enjoy!

Here's a list of ideas I can think of (good luck on the trip!):

Bait/fillet table - about 30" wide with a "level-lock" type gunwale mount, slot for knife, and a way to hook up the raw water hose so that water is constantly flowing across the table (why has no one invented this yet??) I have a valve on my raw water line, so I don't need one on the fillet table, but one as an option would be good for some, since you don't want "full blast" water coming across it while filleting.

6" Pliers that will cut braid line (powerpro/spectra/etc) with replaceable cutting blades. Include holster and coil lanyard

Collapsable "davit" that can be inserted into gunwale rod holder with an open pulley (and cleat at the bottom) for pulling lobster/crab nets (hoop nets) by hand (no motor). Light weight and easy to stow, but strong enough to not bend when filled with a 20# juvenile nurse shark being pulled up through 30' of water. The cleat at the bottom is to tie off the line so you can inspect the catch without having to swing it over the deck.

Weedless swimbait "jig" heads with eyes in 1/2 oz, 3/4 oz, and 1 oz sizes. In California, we fish in and around kelp beds for bass and lose a LOT of lures to snags in the kelp. It is remarkably hard to find large sized weedless jig heads for rigging Big Hammer swim baits.

Combination lobster and crab gauge 3.25" on one side, 4" on the other side. Stainless or aluminum

pliers i got , need to concentrate on the faster moving , and bulk items that we all readily consume but i like some of the ideas bait tables are low profit due to shipping weight and size but i might make a few hundred pcs in spring
