For those who haven't seen my thread on THT, here's the pics and video of my setup with a Mirage Plus 17 prop and raising the motor 2 holes from where it was originally. This is running in light 1-3' swell (down swell) with a tiny amount of chop on top. We're running with 2 divers + gear (only three tanks), 1/2 a tank of fuel, and an otherwise light load. We're running at 4200 to 4400 RPM and between 27 and 30 mph (SOG per GPS). It feels much better than before I raised the motor, but I'm also running lighter loads, so it is hard to make a direct comparison.

Sorry about the kelp - it drives me nuts seeing it there, but I didn't want to risk removing it while underway, and I was already filming when we picked it up. I also had a rookie driver, so I wanted to keep it quick. Note the periodic increase in RPM (a few hundred). For the life of me I can't recall whether it did this before and I'm just noticing it now, or if this is new and a sign that I raised it too much. it is not "blowing out" in mild turns or running up-swell, but it is bouncing up and down like this a lot with the RPM bouncing up and down a few hundred RPM.
