Getting ready to mount some wishbone (TIGRESS) outrigger mounts and have been "surfing" the projects section about the preferred angles to be mounted at. Does anyone like a certain position not discussed in the forums?

There are a few generalizations that I recall from 4 years ago when I mounted mine. In a perfect world the tips of the outriggers when deployed will be as close to the stern as possible.
This keeps the baits and lures running at a more consistent speed. Consider the outriggers that are mounted vertical and would deploy straight out midship. As the boat is trolling and there is wave action there will be a certain amount of yaw. A couple of degrees of yaw from a wave will cause a sudden decel or acceleration at the point say 19 feet straight out from midship. The vertical mounting will give you the widest spread however. The closer that tip is to the stern the less effect those sudden changes have on your baits.
So the angle you mount your base will be dependent on the length of your poles. There are compromises to be made for looks and ease of operation.

Richard is correct. I'm not sure you can get a consensus among owners of the 'perfect angle'.
I'm happy with the angle of mine, and the tips of mine ended up being roughly mid-cockpit.
My most recent tweek was to add small single shive blocks to the upper eyes to allow the mono to deploy and retract easier.
I'll post a photo next time I'm at the boat to explain...
