Outriggers for 2820

I mostly fish the Great Lakes but would like to venture out onto the saltwater this summer and thought I would add some outriggers. Thought about adding something that I could easily remove? Any thoughts? I saw a mount that can be added to a rod holder on the gunnel? Or would a roof mount be better?

Anyone have any thoughts?
