I have searched for days and have not been able to find any info regarding the new Merc 150 4 stroke and its performance on a Parker 18. Maybe no one has done it yet is it is so new?? My main concern is the weight and if there is a significant performance advantage over say the 140 Suzuki (lighter, but less actual HP).
I am also curious to see performance numbers for members that have a 140 Suzuki or 150 Etec on their 18's. I have found a lot of performance bulletins and #'s on the 115 Yamaha, but no actual numbers on a 140 or 150 (speed / fuel use / cruise / WOT). There are a lot of mentions of members with these motors on their 18's, but I have not been able to find numbers.
