Hello Parker guys....
I have the opportunity to buy a 1998 parker 2530 with a volvo penta kad 43 I/O diesel....
boat has alot of electronic options (GPS, Fishfinder, etc) but are kinda dated..1998....The boat also has very limited deck space because of the engine as you all may know. The engine has 300 hours on it and runs great, the engine experienced a bad tank of diesel so the flowscan was taken out and bypassed and a racor water separator was installed. the boat has Air condition, heat, toilet, flood lights, 130 Gallon fuel tank, electronic anchor, 24 mile radar, fuel managment, tilt, trim, duel D batteries with switch customly installed midship under the deck in the cabin, shore power, battery charger, VHF, behind the captains chairs there is custom cushioned bench type seats with storage under each of them. boat does 23 knots at 3300 rpm burning 8GPH.

My question is what should I expect to pay for this boat?....What would you pay for this boat?..... anything i should worry about or take a close look at if i do decide to buy this? Thank you very much..

Austin

I can't tell you what to offer on this boat, but if it were me...
I would run (not walk) and make an offer before it is gone.

That is a very desirable combination.
A 2530 with a diesel and low hours... lordy. 8)

If i told you it was for sale for $34,000 "negiatable" and im goin to offer $28,000 because i think he just wants to get rid of it what do you think?

I would say 'go for it'!

the asking price is just a starting point

Absolutely!

When you buy it, I would love to see pics of the custom batteries installed under the cabin floor, I am planning on doing something similar.
