One drawback to a roller trailer......... Make sure you double and tripple strap it.

Is that my 1801??? I better check my back yard!!!!Ouch is right

I hate the look of Gel Coat stained asphalt..

I just put the pic in photo shop
And some of the clip and strap is still attached
I bet the Web strap was old and snaped
Boat wasnt tied down in back and simply slide back and off
And somwhat gently slide over to side of road
Id still be crying

I agree i looked at strap............

I used to use 1/4" stainless cable and a 1/2" gauge safety chain.....

ONE DAY on the way home a swerved to miss a killer pot hole but still hit it ............
BAM!!!@#$

Cable snapped and safety chain SAVED the DAY

I dont see a front safety chain broken off on front!!!!

POINT ALWAYS HAVE A BACK UP FRONT ATTACHMENT ...."SAFETY CHAIN"

wow!!!!..........

Any way the rest of my story goes like this so it broke due to corrosion ,
MY FAULT ....but thank god i keep tools in truck.......

Pulled over opened up scocket set loosened up clamps all 3 and cut off affected cable.....retightened and went on my way.....
