Haven't noticed any of the pilot house boats with a walk thru transom such as found on Grady Sailfish. Did Parker make any of their boats with that feature? Thanks

The 2014 Parker models from 25 to 28 feet now have a transom door along with a livewell of 35 gallons in the transom/port side. The only model excluded is the 2530 extended cabin.

Brent, thanks, good to know. Was it a special order, or do you know??
What was the beam on that boat at that time? Thanks

I am the third owner and the original owners still live Briny Breezes FL and like to fish and dive. They added several upgrades so they could go to the Keys for a week and have some solitude. As I understand Parker during this time period built many variations on the base models and I expect still have the molds. The market was different then and they were establishing their brand and filling customer needs
The door is original along with bracket but dive ladder has been replaced more than once and don't if Pete ordered it and was shopping and found on a dealer lot.

The beam is 8'6"

A lot of folks stop to talk about it and SW Florida at one time had several dealers. Even guys at the Grady White dealer love it
we were lucky and bought it in a down market and able to make deal over dinner and next day present a certified check to the second owner who only had it fro one year we found it Craigs list and Jaxed list
Good luck I see parkers all of time in Tampa Sarasota ft Meyers CL.

Did they every have a tuna door, or transom walk thru on a 2520?. A walk thru door from the extension thru the transom like those on the Gradys would be a plus for the great-grandkids swimming time. Don't want to spend time searching for a 2520 with one if they didn't make them. Thanks.

Think about it.....Grady went to a Euro transom early on. Parker did not. They still use a Full transom and a bolt on bracket. This setup gives you a lot more boat than a Euro transom boat.

Grady's are not what people think. Just higher priced.

Is that transom on the Grady, with the walk thru door also called a Euro Transom? I looked at a Wellcraft Coastal that had such a door but the seat next to it folded up back into the transom so one still had an open area there like a plain transom. The door with a boarding ladder will make it easier for the Great Grand Kids to swim.
