me and the Otherline..........see how tippy the MV boats are compared to the DV......just kidding. :) 8)

btw: most of the festivities (boat parades) in St Pete were on Sat.

that's a skin cancer avoidance device. highly sought after i might add. especially in areas where there are more than 3 sunny days in a season. but seriously, when the Gulf temp is 90, the OAT is 94 and the humidity is near a 100......the sun can really beat you down. keeps overheated/slimy fisherman out of the Captain's clean PH.

     That was funny.

Actually, it's very useful. Keeps a good part of the ballroom shaded.

I always try to snag that part of the boat when I fish on Jim's boat.

Even had him bring it ( very portable ) when we went out on my boat.

Install, start to finish, 3 minutes.

D

WOW temp is 94 and hum is near 100.... must be a real hellhole to fish in. suprised anyone in Fl would buy a CC

I ran across this, would it help? the rainbow motiff should color coordinate w/any boat color.

i know we are a LITTLE off topic, but funny with the rainbow umbrella idea. i caught another friend of mine with a 2320 who uses just that....it's that hot sometimes. i snuck up on him one day on our favorite spot and he had it stuck in a rod holder on the center cockpit livewell. a very funny moment.....i guess you had to be there.

as far as CC vs PH in FL. the pics below are my previous boat. i can assure you the PH is much cooler than the CC. this is due to less reflected UV exposure. however the DVCC (imo) is more fun to drive, and while it's the same hull, the ride at the helm seat is much better due to location (aft) on the pitch axis. with that said, getting sunburned just about every trip was no longer an option.

i realize it's easy to criticize things you have not experienced yet. note to Opti.....things to try: trash can livewell and mid summer deepsea fishing trip (in FL) on a PH.

Mine is sitting at the dock today.
