Here is the latest from Perko regarding replacement keys:

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry on getting replacement keys. This is one of the few parts Perko can sell directly to consumers, provided we can establish ownership of the boat.

In order to receive replacements, please send:

1. CHECK made out to Perko Inc
2. PRICE each key is $1.76
3. SHIPPING Within the US add $1.50 to the total for shipping charges
4. DOCUMENTS Copy of insurance or registration to establish ownership of the boat.
5. Any note requesting replacements must include the key number. (Ex. RH001 or RH024)
6. Mail the above to: 16490 NW 13 AV, MIAMI FL 33169

Note 1: Currently available RH keys have a three digit number (i.e. RH001 – RH050). Some older models only have two digits (i.e. RH01 - RH50) These keys share the same cut but are slightly different in thickness.

Regards,

Manny

Or.....You could have removed the lock from the door....Taken it to a local locksmith and had 2 keys made from the lock for about $10.

That's what I did .......... Then I found where the original owner hid the key to it.

So you can't get a copy of key made at locksmith? Also what about a copy of yamaha key. As I only got one set and better get a duplicate made

Yes As I said.....Locksmith can make the Perko key.

As to the Yamaha key....Peel back the rubber if it has it on the key...There is a 3 digit number on the key....Call your local Yamaha dealer and give them the key number....You'd be surprised.....They might even have it in stock.
