I have a 2120 Pilothouse and it is cooler in the house in the middle of the summer than sitting out on the deck. When you are running and open the windows you get a very nice breeze throughout the cabin. Of course it is twice as good in January/February. 
You can find many posts from as far south as Florida on how cool the cabins are during the summer heat.
