poling platform 21 SE

I noticed the Jones Bros 1910 has an optional poling platform, can you put one on a 21 SE ? the parker is 500lbs heavier and has more beam, would it be too much to pole?

i will say that i have, in an emergency, poled a 2530 about a half mile with a boat pole. was it fun? not so much. but it was done. i would think that you could probably do it provided you are in decent physical shape and maybe not going very far.

I think much is going to depend on the conditions where you are poling...namely the current and wind.

I do not think it would be an issue in very "calm" conditions, however, give some current to it and pushing a 21 footer around may not be so much fun.
