Poly Planar ma7500 vs. ma800

I just bought my first boat and yes its a 2120 and can't wait until the snow thaws. (No pics yet since it is at the dealer). Trying to buy box speakers for the Pilot House and for under the gunnels. The ma7500 and the ma800 seem the same. Anyone know the difference?

Seems like the 7500 are higher performance
I have the 800 and love them
7500 might be better??

The 7500s work great but does not give the best sound in my opinion. have a set in rear of pilot house and if underway can barely hear. I just purchased the Poly Planar 9060 that im gonna swap on back of pilot house and put the 7500s inside. Will post results once installed.

I did purchase the 7500 for inside the cabin and under the gunnel. Let me know if the new ones make a difference. I hope that the gunnel can create a louder sound.

The 7500 sounds great in the pilothouse but I would recommend a larger one like the 9 series fits great under the gunwhale and sounds good. I only had the 7500 on back of pilothouse but dont think would be powerful enough under the gunwhale. Will post pic of my install soon.
