I've used a similar model for quite some time. Actually I've got 2 of them. One is just the basic jumper box, the other has a compressor and small inverter (120 vac) for charging cell phones etc.

I use mine for my electric trailer winch among other things.

I thought a little battery like that wouldn't have much of a chance of starting my outboard motor, but it works fine and will also jump the ten banger in my van.

Thanks, I just returned the my model b/c the battery would not take a full charge after 3 days on the AC charger. Oh well

I got a cheap, 30$ one from Job Lot and found it did the same thing at first. The more and more I used it though it charged better and better. Go figure.

I got a cheap one from West Marine a few years back and we use it all the time, I plug in a pump and use the power to inflate our dingy, and then the foot pump to finish it off, but man does it help, when we had a motor problem offshore, it is what we could start the motor with to get home, they are a very good thing to have on the boat , I think !
