Just saw a 96 2100 DV w/ 96 merc 150 carb. Has T-top, all cushions look good, leaning post installed, depth finder, GPS, x 2 radio, and hull is mint. A few issues- rotating spotlight not working, salt H2O wash down is out of commission, and don't know the hrs on the engine. No trailer included. Thinking about 13K if engine is OK. Have heard some issues w/ a 150 being too little power for this boat. Comments welcome on price, engine, etc. Thanks
PS is the transom really low? does anyone get a lot of h2o over the transom?

Exactly.
Use the search feature and check the 'tude at the door.

If you have a specific question, ask away.
It is a 1996 vintage. Some things might need attention to bring the boat up to spec. Those things are not deal breakers.
The 150 is the right power for that hull.

I would spent some time determining the overall motor condition. The number of hours is important but service records would be better.
Most folks take good care of their boat and motors while others do not
I would check the deck carefully esp if any add-ons for bad spots.

Thanks for all the input- I am heading up for the sea trial on Friday. Its an older couple so I am hoping they took it easy on the engine. My real issue is the fact that I also have the possibility of picking up a 1988 Whaler Outrage 22' w/ a 225 Yami Salt h20 II on it. Took that for a ride and it was lightening fast- engine very strong and in great shape. Boat is a little banged up- but could be made nice. I know most would say the engine is the essential piece to the equation- but with the Parker brand, not sure if this rule applies.
