I recently sold my 2008 2520 and am downsizing a little. I'm now interested in a new 21SE at a dealership. The boat has no T-top or electronics but comes with a trailer. The dealer is looking for 42K for the set up. Does this seem like a reasonable price or is there some wiggle room there? Thanks

Do you really want to take the depreciation hit on a new boat? If so I still think that is a bit high. I just sold my 21se 2005 with 600 hours for 22k fully serviced if that gives you any idea of used versus new. (west coast)

FYI, price discussions are tough ... as prices are VERY regionally based. It's also tough to compare pricing from 1 dealer to the next. And in this economy - all bets are off. It really comes down to how low will the dealer go and how steadfast are you ...

Region makes a big difference as well as what options are on the boat. Time of purchase as well
