Good evening guys. I’m a new member here so please excuse me if I’m in the wrong section of the forum. I’m interested in buying a 23’ , 2005 Parker Center console with a 200 YAMI HPDI with approx 800 hrs. NO TRAILER INCLUDED. Soft T-Top, Leaning post , Garmin, am/fm electronics.

First question: What would be an average price for that boat if I were to buy it right now
Second question: are the 2005, 200HP HPDI YAMAHAS good. Would I get a couple hundred more hours on it assuming the person took good care of it?
Third question: how much do you think it will sell for in about 5 years if I decide to sell it.

Appreciate any advice or tips I can get
Thanks in advance,
Matt

kind of a tough question to answer without seeing or knowing the condition of the boat / motor. if i had to guess - i’d say 25-ish today if the boat and motor have been well cared for and properly maintained (?) no reason it won’t run fine for hundreds more hours. one of our 23SEs is a 2014 with a 2014 hpdi with 1,200 hours that’s still going strong with no “impending doom” feelings. the other is a 2016 with a 2016 200 hpdi with about 750 hours - also all good with no issues so far. the 200 hpdi is a great match for the 23se. in 5 years (?) again - condition, condition, condition and the market (?)... but lets say all things equal - same 200 hpdi + 200 hoirs (?)... 20?

I am looking for the same thing, I have seen them anywhere from $35000 to $25000.

Not to hijack the thread. Nick, is the 200 the best fit for that boat or would you recommend a 225 or 250?

ours go great with the hpdi 200s - they are original to our boats.

when you say “recommend” you mean upgrade / replacement motors or original 200 hpdi from 2005 ?

a 2005 hpdi 200 no issue for me at all if the motor was well cared for and i didn’t mind hpdi vs 4 stroke (for example).

if i was upgrading / replacing a motor TODAY i’d probably be lookong at a 4s and i don’t believe the new 200hp 4 strokes (?) push as well as the 200 hpdi - so weight considered etc - i’d prob be looking at something like a zuk 250 4s. both our 200x 200 HPDIs push 30mph at cruise (4000 light, 4200 heavy), have a great hole shot, and sip gas too.
