Prop help

2004 2520 XL 225 4 stoke with motor bracket .Came with a 15-17p black Yamaha prop .With 20 gal. gas no gear and one person it will just make it to 5900 -6000 rpm .With 4 people , full of gear ,3/4 tank of gas ,30 gal. bait well it just makes it to 5600 very slow to plane . I tried a Mirage Plus 17P same load and only got to 5300 RPM I was thinking on a Mirage Plus 15P or a Enertia 16P any help please ?

Have a 17p Mirage plus on my 2520, but mine is hanging on a 225hp OX66.
She will run the boat loaded with fuel, gear, and 4 people aboard in flat water at 34 kts turning 5100 rpm.

No problem at all getting on plane, but I replaced the 12x12 OEM tabs with a set of 24x9 Bennetts.

Something is wrong with that mirage plus- I have the same setup, same hull and motor- I could spin 5900 with the 17p.
