Raw Water Wash down ( Low pressure )

I see a clear glass ( Looks like filter) How do you take this off.. I'm assuming it's all gunked up. Looks pretty nasty in there and man after sitting a couple weeks that water stank.

That clear bowl does have a filter in it.
There are tabs on the bowl for your fingers to grip.
I forget which way to turn it, but it doesn't really "unscrew" like a threaded fitting. You have to turn it enough to "unhook" these tiny tabs that keep the bowl locked in there. Sorry for the vague description, it's difficult to explain in type....good luck with it.

Thank You Tim..

That was my concern. I didn't want to break it.

I'm assuming this should be clean regularly...

Shut off power switch. Hose connection usually spins off. then unscrew full clear filter assembly. Then on one face has a couple of tabs you can grab, push in slightly and turn left.

Then remove metal screen and clean it. Can be silt, weeds, or bacterial slime (typically black or grey).

Then do the reverse.

Also, not necessarily for you but can also make sure if you bottom paint that you don't overly block the inlet at the hull.
