Rear Helm for 1994 2520 PILOT HOUSE?

Is it possible to install a helm on the back deck of a 1994 2520 Pilot House with a 2017 300HP Yamaha outboard?

If your outboard has electronic controls instead of mechanical then it would be pretty straightforward. Adding a steering wheel might require changing both helms but I'm not 100% sure on that. You might just need to plumb a second helm into your existing set up.

But yes, with a newer outboard it should be possible. In general, you're looking at a second helm, new steering hoses so you can splice in the second helm, second binnacle, and then the station selector and wiring so that the engine knows which binnacle to receive input from.
