The section of fuel hose, starting at the Racor out onto the deck, including primer bulb, then up into the cowling has seen 9 seasons of sun, salt and soap and I'd like to replace it. The boat is 90 miles away and I do not recall a size being stamped on the hose... Anyone know off hand?
It's all still OEM, 1999 2520 with a 225 OX66

Thanks.

Yep, and be sure to get a Yamaha brand primer bulb. No substitutes. Should be available with enough line to get from filter to motor.

Yup, all V6s use 3/8" ID hose and fittings. And the other poster above is correct, the OMC/Bombardier made bulb is not only the BEST made primer bulb out there, but it will cost you less than the expensive Yam version. Even my local Merc and Suzi dealers rig their boats with the OMC/Bomb bulbs.

FWIW ... this aint't conjecture ... all bulbs were dissected and compared in a post on The Hull Truth and it had better components and superior construction.

Other than that ... 9-months exposure is nothing IMHO ...

Thanks Dale,

It's been 9 years, not months and I use bleach sometimes but I'm not sure if thats an issue or not. It just looked to me upon a visual inspection to be in not that good of shape compared to the rest of the span (dried out on the outside, small cracks, etc.). I figured cheap insurance, hate to develop a leak or a split 20+ miles from home.
