Looks like a screw came out that attaches the rub rail to the boat. Storm knocked my boat around the other night. I noticed that there was a center strip that either slides out or pops out. Not sure if I can pop out the center piece and re-screw it to a another spot next to the old hole. Does anyone have suggestion on the best way to repair.

You need to pull the center and refasten the rail, you may need to go to a bigger screw, redrill or do a fiberglass repair depending on the damage.

Thanks. So the center can pop out? That's great. I thought I was going to have to slide the whole center thing off.

You probably have to pull it off from the stern quarter, there should be a screw and cap system holding it at the notch in the transom, pull it up to the repair area.
