Salt creep on front window

My front fold out window is leaking, I believe it is leaking between the glass and the rubber seal due to the fact I am getting salt coming out of the starboard side lower corner, and i always wash her down real good. The windows are wynne windows. My question is has anyone pulled out the rubber seal that touches the glass on the outside of the window and recaulked it? I tried to search different topics on this but havent had much luck.
