Shipping from Rhode Island to CA

Does anyone know and or have used a good, reliable shipping company that can provide a trailer to ship a 2520 xl to Dana Point California? Any help with this will be a gigantic help. Thanks in advance.

I shipped my 2520 across from RI to Seattle using Boats Express. They did a great job. Mine was on a trailer, but I believe they have their own. It made it to Seattle in 4 days. Being flexible on when the transport happens can make it cheaper by allowing them to find a deadhead back to the east coast. The guy I talked with was Greg Hutchens.

You can also try Maritime Trucking out of Mattapoisett MA. (508) 758-9409. he coordinates shipping with several different haulers. they do a lot of the "Snowbird" boat transport to FLA and back every year.

I have used UShip and so far have had great results. I assume loading and unloading will some place that has a forklift, or travel lift. Otherwise a hydraulic trailer for a 3000 mile trip will be pricey. I was pricing out moving my 1801 on my trailer from Charlestown, RI to Florida and the prices came in just about $1.00/loaded mile, or slightly less.

I used u ship and had my 2530 ship from Virginia to the Bay Area but it had a brand new trailer under it. It cost me 3200
