Shrink Wrap

After two feet of snow my shrink wrap was torn on the apex of the bow rail. There is a 14inch tear in it and there is froze water in the boat. Is this someting that is going to be a problem?? I can get it redone but if its not a major issue then we can let it slide for this season

Was there a support from the highest point of the baot to the end of the bow rail?
This is an area that needs pitch to shed snow, ice and water.
I would not leave it as it is.
What model are we talking about?
That will help in answering questions.
