I just drained my fuel tank because I knew I had some bad gas in there. Now that it's drained I can see small debris in there but I'm not too sure what it is. Should I just fill her back up with new gas and assume my filter will pickup the debris (and change the filter often) or is there a way for me to clean the debris directly from the tank? The hole for the sender seems too small to get anything substantial in there to clean stuff out.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can pull the fuel sender and use a hand pump. Attach the hose end to piece of nylon tubing or equivalent to control the hose pickup placement. A helper can operate the pump. I would add a 10 micron fuel and water separator filter and also keep the filter inside on the OB. I use a fuel filter funnel from Harbor Freight and paid $12. It may be mispriced b/c others sell them at a higher price.
