High winds ripped one of my snaps for my drop curtain right out of the hull. Can anyone give me some repair advice?

Much appreciated.

Fix hole with epoxy like those 2-part sticks that are green on the outside & gray on the inside. I, for one, don't use or recommend Marine-Tex anymore.

Then if you need a snap, I have a full set and can send you 1 or 2. I believe I have them in 2 lengths for self-tapping screws, 3/8" or 5/8". Send me a PM if you need them ... of the round button-type.

Now, if you can get to the BACK side of the surface, I think I also have a few that attached via a threaded stud so you could put a Nylok nut on the backside.

Dale -

Thanks for the advice and the very generous offer of snaps.

I actually have them and was wondering if I could re-attach the snap by using a bit of a wider screw back into the hole that the snap was pulled out of in the first place...

Seems I could use the hole as a pilot.

Thoughts?
