My Lewmar windlass is old but works fine. It has 2 switches; one to operate it and other is a combo circuit breaker and off/on switch. The later failed recently we made a quick fix using scrap aluminum plate and blue seas circuit breaker with manual reset and led light

It works and looking for a replacement switch that is also
A off on switch before painting the backer plate and finishing it

Anyone seen this type of switch?

I tried a blue seas circuit breaker that is has off on function but is too large for the hole and may need to enlarge the hole

As a aside the original switch backer plates are made of metal but hard plastic which has cracked over time
I bought a new up down switch but could not locate other switch

Led light is too bright plan to replace too

Any ideas or comments?
thanks

Ahhhhhhhhh! Usually a windless needs a 50amp Breaker.

I actually replace the OEM factory unit that comes with them....With a Surface mount unit.

This is the style they send with them.

This is what I use.

But you can mount the top one in a standard gray electric box with a flat cover cut to fit.....That is how the one is on my Parker, because I had plenty of those Breakers left over.
