I have cancelled all of my magazine subscriptions except for the local fishermen weekly rag.

I have come to the conclusion that anything I need can be read online.

Your post reassures my suspicion. Why pay for advertisements.

If I want DIY boat repair guidance, I come here to CP or to the Wooden Boat forum.

I'm down to one magazine that I subscribe to...Fly Fishing in Saltwater. I get the "American Rifleman" and the VFW magazine, but only because of my life memberships in both organizations. Other than that, I read everything on-ine.

BTW, with Firefox and FlashBlock and NoScript, nearly all of the advertisements get blocked when I'm doing my reading on-line.
