On my 2005-- 2320 full transom parker, I want to install a thru hole tranducter dead center in back of boat, that would be 0 deg. I was going to put on dead rise 21 deg. but I would have to mover live well pick up.
This tranducter would be next to my bilge pump. Were its flat when looking from the outside, back of boat.. There must be a stringer because its thicker.
My ? is --has anyone put a trantucter at this spot ? Is it ok to drill there ?
I am using a Furuno 525 round transducter -flush

as long as its flush to the bottom of the hull shouldnt be a problem. Only thing i have heard from people is that if it is not flush it will cause ventilation on the motor.

Yes -thats all I do is fish. I just didn't want to weaken the hull. It seems to be ok. Going with a 0 deg ---I allway put it on a dead rise. Just wanted to make sure no air bubbles. Having it dead center -I don't have to worry about the trailer rollers.
Thanks for the input
Marty
Ps Last week I won the Ta Ta IRI tuna tour here in Delaware, with my little parker. I must say after owning many boats in my life.
I LOVE MY PARKER-

I use an Airmar 1000k ducer self leveling . They make several types for different hull angles.

Congratulations on winning the Tuna Tourny out of IRI Marty. I too fish out of IRI sometimes but mostly out of Lewis or Bowers on the Del Bay.

Sounds like a good question to ask the factory. 252-728-5621
That way there is no guessing.
