Hmm. Looks like a holder kinda day....
Weather kinda crappy so I thought I would tinker.
Was looking for a place to put pliers, knife, venting tool, dehooker, etc., all the stuff that always seems to get misplaced when you have 2-3 guys fishing and everyone looking for the "X" and can't find it. Magic Stickums shelf- $7.99 from Lowe's. In the bath fixtures section. Works like the sea sucker product. Place the suction cups on a flat surface, press the button a few times and it holds great!

Drilled a few holes and 20 minutes later, I have my holder. Of course, I keep (on my belt) my own pair or pliers/cutters and knife but at least, it will keep the deck somewhat organized.
Leader, Fluro, Line - Do a lot of bottom fishing over rock and coral. Wind up replacing leader frequently. Nice to have the line handy to peel off what you need. No more digging in tackle box to find the size and color I want. $6.99 paper towel holder from Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Used a curtain rod holder that I had laying around. Cut it about 1/2" longer than the OD of the paper towel holder so it stays in place nicely. When you need to change spools, just pull on of the ends outward a bit and the rod easily comes out.
Applied a 12" strip of double sided tape to the paper towel holder and stuck it the transom. If I don't like it, I can just pull it off and clean up the adhesive. No holes. 10 minutes.
Finally, using Kevin's (Megabyte) idea, made a few of the these pvc fender holders. I added a T at the top because I thought the line might slider over the top accidently. Used 1" pvc. 15 minutes.
Plenty of daylight left. Anyone have any other ideas??
