Decided to lift the old boats garage to fit The Peter Parker under for protection and no more fighting with a tarp.

 green with envy, nice project.

does it need some anchors to stay put in winds, thinking beach umbrella syndrome perhaps

I have lines coming down from the top
Two aft to the aft cleats
on up front to a forward cleat
Never had a problem
I also put a aluminum saw horse with plastic footings on the roof of the pilot house
In the winter I raise the trailer up so the center ridge is on the center of the saw horse
And strap the two together so it stays lined up
that way no chance of snow collapse it work real well

Well Poge I just finished and the final piece of the puzzle was anchoring so I can still move it if necessary. I filled 12 buckets with cement and added lag bolts through the pipe to secure it in the cement.

And Sully I did get the idea from you :)

Looks good Peter! 8)
But if you think it will be windy I would tie down to the cleats of the boat!
The buckets are good footings but wont hold the thing from flying away
I did it that way at first and came home with it standing straight up and leaning on the trees behind with the fence post all bent
So I buried the fence post and tie it off to the cleats when its windy ,raining, of winter
It wont carry the boat away
And having it up like that makes it real easy for you to move around it good air flow and no critters!

Thanks Sully...I actually have 2 straps inside to attach to the trailer for windy conditions. Last year I hooked them to the old boat when we got hit with hurricane sandy and my neighbor didn't. Let's just say I still have mine [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]
