Both days fished out of Rudee inlet in VA Beach VA. Clam and blue crabs for bait.On the 3rd had a nasty almost 3 hour ride to get the the triangle wrecks about 30 miles out of Rudee Inlet. It did calm down for a nice ride back about half the time. Lost 2 anchors, fished a couple wrecks. Keith Blackburn caught his first citation tog. We caught 22 toatl fish keeping 7 and tagging ad releasing the rest.
On the 10th did not start until 8AM due to wind and tried a new to me wreck about 10 miles out. Caught fish but slow so at 1PM deceded to make a 20 mile run to the triangles. Fished 2 wrecks caught fish on both. Caught about 20 I think. Kept six tagged some until tagging gun broke so lost count of fish. I lost a stud to one of the wrecks, would of dwarfed the nice ones I got. Fished until just before sunset and had a sporty 2 hour ride back into 20KT plus southerly winds.
