I have a 2007 F250 outboard and needed some touch up paint for the skeg on my lower unit. I called the dealer and they do not have or can not get the paint They gave me the color code and asked me to call Color Rite. The code is DBN1 or Color Rite 5364. www.colorrite.com. It is expensive and I hope it matches. It comes in a pen, jar, aerosol, qt, pt, gl etc...I am not sure if anyone has posted this but thought it is good info to have. You could probably get a local paint shop to dupe it if needed with this code. I will let you know how it matches.

All i can say is good luck. My marina damaged my skeg with their lift and it took 3 tries before i called my dealer and asked him to help. Finally the lower unit was taken to a body shop that has broken down the chemical properties of the original paint and has duplicated it. There is a thread in here somewhere describing the procedure.

Man would i love to agree with you on this Mid Atlantic, but in my case it is just not true. My dealer knows it as well. When painting something with as much surface as a lower unit there is a definite difference in the colorite product. It was a far deeper blue then stock. There could also be some fade over the year in the original paint which is why i would suggest a body shop. This is my experience, so i only speak for myself.
