Trailer in Maryland

Can I trailer my 2520 in Maryland without a special permit ?

I don't have a trailer and sometimes I would like to take my boat to Ocean city or somewhere like that, it's just too far of a ride on the boat from Hoopers Island

You need a permit for over 8'6" in MD.. AT 8'10" I dont plan on pulling one.

Nope, he's right. Anything over 8'6" and you need a permit.

I've got a couple of posts here on CP about towing in MD and VA. It covers flags, flashing yellow lights, wide-load signs, and permit processes. Even has some pictures. I'll see if I can find it.

BTW, I don't get permits to go across the street to get gas. But I do get permits for my annual trek down to Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base and the CBBT each Nov and the return trip in Jan.
