Transducer Rooster Tail

My transducer is installed correctly but when im running water is shooting up on the starboard side of my engine. I am also noticing seawater is getting under the hood and on the interior of the engine. Im thinking the transduce is shooting water occasionally into the intake. Has anyone had this same problem? How do I get rid of the rooster tail? I have a lowrance 525 FF/DF. Thanks Anthony

I have the same problem. This year changing to a airmar in hull

transducer. I do not care about water temp i will just put my hand in the

water.

My friend has one and it is just fine!

are you getting water on the sides of your engine as well? thanks for the reply, anthony.

Yes but not inside engine cover. Don't want to wait for that to happen.
