The first thing I did after buying my 1997 1800 was installing a set of Bennet trim tabs. I selected the m120s. Everything went straight forward. I put the pump in the bildge as seen in the picture below. Don't worry the boat got a thorough cleaning afterword including the bildge. I had to notch the swimming platform as seen below. Also, I gelcoated the holes for the hydraulic lines and then filled them with marine silicone after taking the picture.
