Has any of you guys mounted a trolling motor on the bow of a 23se. Looking to get one but I really like having a trolling motor in the bow for the shallow water stuff.

Thanks

John

I do not have a 23SE, but I have a Riptide ST80 bow mounted on my 1801. The 60" shaft is right for my boat and I get about 3 knots at full power.

For a 23SE, I expect that you would want to step up to a 36V with 64" shaft. If you decide on a trolling motor, definitely get the iPilot option - it is well worth the money.

I would be interested to know the same...I have a little G3 Jon boat I use in the flats but it would be nice to slide the Parker up in the creeks and shallows given the draft.
