I have seen that before, hate to have a problem with it though.

Seems to me a plug should be a plug and not pull double duty as something else.

doesnt seem too terrible though. i mean it might just essentially be a plug and then the light is just glued on the outside. seems like a nice idea not having to put new holes on the boat

i like yours better its cheapers. those trim tab mounted ones seem pretty neat but huge. i cant believe how expensive these things can be.

oh wow, i like those led ones a lot and they are really cheap (in comparison to all the others)

Those will definetly make their way on the boat in march

I'd like to install a set of them myself. The price for them seems a lot more reasonable.

I've seen the white ones on boats around here, but they didn't look good in our 'less than clear' water.
I have seen blue and they looked good, but have never seen green on a boat in this area.

I have a pair of the blue ocean led 1500's on the transom of my 2520. They are awesome, but they were not cheap. Best deal I found was at northeastmarineelectronics.com. It's also great to have the underwater lights when we are hooping for lobster at night, real easy to keep your eyes on the loose rope in the water so it doesn't get near the prop. They will bring the squid and other critters up but does not compare to the big metal halide and generator.

OK, help me out here. For me, I only launch in and out once along with when I pull out for some maintenance off a slip.

So you screw and unscrew your bilge plug and the wiring twists right? And you leave it hanging off-season in winter storage to let the bilge drain?
