I had planned on having my seats redone this winter but decided I would prefer to try and do them myself.

While I will make some modifications to the seat box and framework I will pretty much be placing the fabric over the old vinyl.

I want to put a neoprene type product over the old vinyl. Where can I get this type of material?

I am thinking about the type of material used on the slip over "waterproof" Jeep seat covers for sale in Jeep catalogs. Does any one know of a supplier for this material?

Any thought or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

GW,,

Sounds like you are game to tackle the re-upholstery yourself. That's the true ClassicParker spirit! As a purist I would hate to see you put "slipcovers" over your OEM vinyl. :( :( Why not simply replace the OEM vinyl with brand new OEM vinyl?

Check out this link Parker OEM cushion fabric for sale . The folks at Coastal Canvas can make this project very easy for you with exact OEM replacement (prestitched and pre-formed) upholstery for your ClassicParker.

I just replaced my Companion Seat (Pedastal type) and backrest upholstery with their help. The whole project took less than an hour. (Just remember to use Stainless Steel Staples ! )

Good luck with your project!
