Yesterday I had Beth Synowiec fishing with me. Pulling out of Rudee Inlet in Virginia Beach conditions were poor, with a stiff onshore wind. Not dangerous but I knew we were in for a beating. We bobbed around about 20 minutes just off the beach deciding if we wanted to take the beating we were about to get or go back in. We headed eats. It was as bad as I thought it was going to be only thing I expected it to get better in a couple hours. It did not. After a couple more hours we dropped the anchor and luckily it held all day. The bite was not hot by any means but we caught some fish. Beth had two beautiful togs, one was 15 pounds 6 ounces and the other was 10 pounds 7 ounces weighed in the next morning. As for me I did a great job netting the fish.
